Author: Cheryl Dawn (Dawnie) Buchan

Raised with a welsh pinto pony then a barn full of Standardbreds which my father drove in races. I marshaled with mine with a borrowed saddle since we always rode bareback. I still ride but no longer have a horse of my own. I am a member of the RVGSAR but stepped down from the other organizations that I belonged to once I retired. Now I enjoy woodcarving/whittling, writing, enjoying the outdoors and being with my family and friends. Plan to get back riding once I have knee (both) surgery.

Live your dream now…You can’t do it any younger.
